DEPUTIES SEARCHING FOR SUSPECT

A manhunt involving ten Deputies and the Sheriff’s Office helicopter is currently underway in Western Washington County. Authorities are in search of Jerry Allen Raines, age 39, to arrest him on multiple felony and misdemeanor warrants. Specifically, the felony warrants on which Raines is wanted are for violating the terms of his parole, for failing to register as a sex offender and for failing to register a change of address as a registered sex offender. Deputies attempted to serve the warrants on Raines at a residence in the vicinity of US 50 and Federal Road in Little Hocking when Raines absconded. Raines is 5’ 10” 140 pounds, has red hair, blue eyes and dragon tattoos on his left and right arms. Raines is considered dangerous and has a history of a weapons offense, aggravated menacing and resisting arrest.
