The January meeting of Friends of Lower Muskingum River will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday January 28 in Rm. E118, Washington State Community College.
The program will be a presentation by Kristyn Robinson, FLMR Watershed Coordinator and Brenda Lazarus, OSM/VISTA Watershed Coordinator celebrating the successes of 2009, including; Drinking Water Protection Planning for Tri County Rural Water, the Village of Beverly, the Village of Lowell and Putnam Community Water in Devola, Marietta Catfish Festival, Mighty Muskingum River Raft Race, the Fall Watershed Tour in Meigs Creek. They will also share information on upcoming events such as the Earth Day 5K - Run/Walk for the River, Floodplain Management Workshop series, River Adventurers Day Camp and more.
The public is cordially invited to attend.
